This means that, in practice, playback volume differences between tracks in playlists and whenever shuffling can be enormous. Volume Normalization - Android app I am using the apple music android app. But this app doesn't have a volume normalization option. Playing playlists from different albums, getting different volume levels. It is quite disturbing. iTunes for windows has a sound check facility. And I see if we download the playlist on iTunes, there is an automatic normalization of volume levels. Are there any facilities available in the apple music android app?

I think you could have the option to activate "loudness" in the settings. Try that and see if it helps. Usually songs that have Dolby Atmos can be experience as lower, but more immersive since they are equalized in another way than regular stereo songs.
