When I open a folder in notes, the folder looks empty. I had just entered a new note , clicked done, went out and back in. That is when folders were empty. I search for my note which indicates one match but doesn’t open anything. Help

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. To get started, if you have multiple folders in the Notes app, are all the folders appearing empty, or just a particular folder? Also, how are you storing the notes on your device? For example, are you storing them directly on your device, or are they being synced with a particular email account?
If you restart your iPhone with the steps shown in the following resource, are you able to see your notes as expected: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
If not, by chance are you able to see the missing notes in the "Recently Deleted" folder?
