Apple news app

when I first got my iPhone 8 back in 2019, I had the News on my phone. Years later, I tried to find an app to get updated with the news and realized that Apple also has its own app.

I have seen the app in other iPhones in stores, but for some reason I can’t find it on mine (even though I did find it in Allowed apps as you can see in the picture). I also cannot find it in Apple store to download it. Did I do something wrong or did I miss something?
