sign in to apple id in system preference pane

sign in to apple id in system preference pane

when i try to sign in to my apple id in the system preference pane i get the message "Could not load Apple ID preference pane." How do i get around this?

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 12.4

Boot into Safe Mode and test to see if the problem persists - Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support

Reboot normally and test again.

Normally, the Computer Account on the computer is Associated with the User ID with Apple

Can you log into My Apple ID with your Apple ID Password ( Not the same as Computer Password )
