Does the songs I downloaded go away when my subscription ends?

Do my songs & playlists that I downloaded from my Apple Music subscription go away when my subscription ends? Or do they stay in my phone?

I couldn’t find any way to remove them since the I didn’t buy the songs, only downloaded them when I had the subscription.
