apple maps not working imac

Apple Maps is not showing any data, just a blank map no matter which location i choose. Seems like i used it a few months ago, but now it is not working right. There is no menu option to 'report an issue'. Anyone else having this? have the latest version of Monterrey OS.

Try restarting the iMac and then reopen Maps.

If that does not help, startup in Safe Mode followed by a normal restart.

see > How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Location services only tells you where you are at and should not keep Maps from working.

Make sure that your iMac is connected to the Internet. A slow service will take awhile to load data on the map.
