Migration assistant stalling

I’ i’m trying to transfer from an iMac to a Mac mini using their migration assistant, but I get stuck in the process the setting up screen in the first Mac seems to stay on forever I got it to work before but the progress bar was not moving, so I’m trying it now with the ethernet cable. Haven’t been able to test if this works
