Can't add artwork to albums in Itunes for Windows.

Hello, I have been unable to add album artwork. I have followed all the steps to add a .jpg file to the "Add Artwork" area in the "album info" page. I have done this many times in the past and had no issues but now this too doesn't work.

I have them downloaded on my computer and I click the album and do the "get info" thing. I then go to artwork and go add artwork, but when I add my custom image nothing happens. adding artwork up until yesterday, i have always been able to "add artwork"; be it the originals i found online or my own pix, i chose from my "photos" for a particular album... i was able to go thru the process > get info / artwork /add artwork / insert the photo clik " O K " ...but, the end result is = no picture ! various looks online offered nothing new .. "permissions" (read and write) were in place .... just don't know what's up ?!? after a recent apple update for itunes ... i now notice i'll get windows popping up to tell me if i do this or that it effects using different playlists ...i sort of ignore, as 1- don't know what it means or refers to and 2- it says i'll only be able to use "stuff" on this computer which is all i need anyway ... Dell computer / windows 11 / i get all my music onto the computer via; itunes store, import a CD or recordings i make on an SD card and add the wav file to the computer importing it to i tunes...it was this last process...which i have done many times before... that had me try to make a "new album" and add artwork, as mentioned thanx

artwork I am running iTunes ver 12.10.6.2 on a Windows 10 laptop. I cannot get one particular album to display Artwork despite following all and any "solutions" given across the internet. The album is Genesis Abacab and it was added to iTunes using ION EZ Vinyl Tape Converter. I know how to add Artwork using Album Info and Get Artwork as I have done this many times successfully. However, nothing seems to solve the problem of displaying the artwork for this one album. I have used EZ many times before to add my LP's to iTunes and successfully displayed the Artwork. Has anyone encountered this type of problem and found a solution? Any help would be appreciated.

You cannot add artwork to tracks in .wav format. If that isn't the issue see Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows - Apple Community.
