I have 100s of photos stored on a external drive and I want to import them into Photos. However, I want them to appear in the correct chronological order in the Photos app. How can I do this when importing 100s of photos?
Photos are imported. End of. There is no specific order. What you can do is display the images in various orders when you create an album from them
View Menu -> Sort Photos
This will allow you to display the images in the order they were taken (Oldest First), assuming that they have their Exif data intact.
