See the article Find photos by text, content or date in Photos on Mac - Apple Support

Note : photos can't be searched by date in iCloud.com , you can scroll down on trackpad to see old photos in months section .

What do you mean by old? All photos are available at iCloud.com/photos or in the photos app of any device logged into your Apple ID with iCloud photos enabled (Settings > Photos)
