Is there a way to create your own song list in Apple Music?

Is there a way to create your own song list in Apple Music? How do you do it if it is possible. With Spotify, I can create playlists from songs I like in the order I like. With the old iTunes, I could pick a song and create a Genius playlist. Can I do that with Apple Music? Create it on the Mac and then move it to my iPhone.
