Netflix Dolby Atmos cuts out. I have to turn off Dolby Atmos and turn on Dolby Digital 5.1.
Is Apple aware of the problem?

It isn't the OP's network. It's a known issue (there's a thirty page plus thread on Apple support USA) and only an issue with Netflix via Apple TV and it is the proverbial PITA.
As widely as it is being reported, Apple has yet to acknowledge it or comment on it.
I fixed the issue by enabling priority streaming with the router to the apple tv. rkaufmann87 was right.
Why do you think it is an Apple issue, it could be your network in not transmitting a strong enough signal where the Apple TV is located?
Hi, my issue is that I experience chopping and sound loss when viewing Dolby atmos movies in Netflix on Apple TV 4K, via my home cinema setup. Other apps eg Disney plus work fine. This seems to be a known issue though struggling to see if Apple are doing anything about this.
There is no problem with the internet or the cabling.
How do you know that, please advise the testing and troubleshooting you have already done.
