I plugged my iPod Nano into my PC that has been updated to windows 11. When I opened up my iTunes on the PC it immediately said that my iPod is not supported by the current Windows version. Is there anyway around this?? I need to download music onto it. Please advise. The device was made in 2012.

Are you using the Microsoft Store version? If yes, you may need to switch to the version downloaded from https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/win64. This is because the Microsoft Store version might not be able to install the iPod Communication software. Could you also send some screenshots?

The iPod nano is from 2012… I have windows 11 on my laptop and this is the message that comes up when I plug in my iPod and the open up iTunes.
so should I download the software you sent me using the link you’ve sent? Will that rectify it??

I've done what you suggested using that link but it still came up with the same message when I opened up Itunes
