Find My vs Find My Safety Alert?

In the Settings-Notifications section of my iphone I can see a listing for “Find My” and a separate one for “Find My Safety Alerts”. Can’t find an app called “Find My Safety Alerts” so why is there a separate listing under the notifications section?

Can’t seem to locate anything on this subject so wonder if there might be spyware on my phone reporting my location to someone?

Find My notifies other that you're watching The Find My app notifies others when you've set it to notify you when they've left or arrive at a location. At first that might not seem like a big deal, unless you're a parent. If you've set all phones to allow following of your kids, they need to know that you may be watching. But now, they'll know when you're NOT watching when they leave or arrive somewhere. That is UNACCEPTABLE and strips parents of their ability to more effectively parent. What's next, an Apple web cam that tells thieves when the camera can't see them? Is there a way to bypass those notifications?

Is there an app to send an "ALERT" to a phone to help locate it? I recently misplaced my phone in my home. "Find My" confirmed it was in the house, but it was on "Do Not Disturb" and had slipped into a narrow place. It is not uncommon for my phone to project "ALERT" messages like floods and Amber Alerts even when it is on Do Not Disturb. If one of those ALERTS had occurred while the phone was lost the phone would have been very easy to find. Is there an app that will allow me to logon to my Apple account and send my phone an alert to help me find it? Thanks

Nope. That notifies you if an unknown item is moving with you.

Thanks Muguy - it’s odd I can’t seem to find anyone querying the same and none of my friends have the same indication in their notifications settings list - they all only have 1 instance of “Find My” listed. But I’m happy it’s not spyware.
