Too many passcode attempts on apple watch. Following reset instructions, place on charger, hold side button until power off display. I get the power off display, but when I press the crown button; i do not get the reset option.

If you forgot your Apple Watch passcode - Apple Support
From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.
Go to Find iPhone.
Click All Devices at the top of the screen.
Click your Apple Watch.
Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.
Click Remove from Account.
