Read the fine print on Samsung's website, they specify they are only compatible with certain Samsung devices.
The issue is there are 2 ways to do audio through USB c, passive and active.
Passive sends a digital stream through the port and requires a DAC on the headphones to decode it.
Active sends the audio stream through the internal DAC then the decoded signal out to the headphones.
iPads are passive audio devices.

I think you need to check the specs and compatibilty of these AKG earphones.
These are NOT an Apple product and no one here is anyone's personal Internet search engine.
Hate for you to have to purchase an external DAC only to find out your earphones are not compatible with Apple mobile devices.
Good Luck to You!
Yes.
They do not have a built in DAC.
Your best bet for compatibility is Bluetooth headphones.
If you really want corded headphones, find ones that specially state they are ipad compatible or have a built in DAC.
Probably because they may not be compatible with iOS/iPadOS devices or with the USB-C connection on the iPad Air?
Is that mean that AKG C earphones couldn't be used on Ipad Air?
