Display immediately deactivates on “wrist down”

The Apple Watch screen immediately goes to sleep on slight tilt of the wrist when running apps like photos or event wallet. - This is a big problem especially when trying to show a picture or ticket to a third person …


Is this a bug or a feature? Still have not found any way to work around this :/

Set the display to always on?


On iPhone, Watch app > Settings > Display & Brightness, enable Always On, and also see the Show… settings there.
