I have a 21-in iMac, Mid-2010, and a MacBook Pro 13-inch, Mid 2012. Is there any way I can connect the two via cable to create a dual monitor setup? I'm not sure if this is even possible but wanted to ask to maximize my creative studio. Thanks in advance to anybody who can provide insight or assistance!

In 2009 and 2010, 21.5-inch iMacs did not support Target Display Mode (TDM), only the 27-inch models did. Otherwise the 2012 Macbook Pro would be supported as it can run no higher macOS than 10.15 Catalina, which is the last OS to support TDM.
