airpods not charging. Dying immediately

I have these airpods and the left one died immediately upon use. No matter how loing they charge.

Airpods My airpods are not holding a charge. It seems that the case doesn't charge or stay charged the most. The highest my case will charge for is until 4% and then dies even when plugged in.

If your left or right AirPod isn't working - Apple Support

Would also try cleaning it (see link in article).
