can not open PDFs

I cannot open PDFs on my Mac Book air - please can anyone help me - I used to be able to but last few weeks I cannot!

Unable to open pdf files on my MacBook I can no longer open pdf files on my MacBook. When I checked in apps I couldn't find adobe reader which is what I usually use to read pdf's. My husband has just bought a new MacBook pro which seems to be linked to my MacBook. Do I simply need to download a pdf reader to solve the problem and if so what is the best reader to use? Thanks.

PDF Viewer stopped working For some reason my Adobe PDF viewer stopped opening PDF files. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Adobe application but that didn't help. Any answers appreciated ! M1 MacBook Pro (14")
