Factory settings

I have just transferred all my info onto a new iPad mini. I want to give my old one to my granddaughter. Will resetting the old one back to factory setting affect my new ipad.

No. When you have finished with your old iPad just sign out of iCloud and Find My on the device and follow Apple's instructions in What to do before you sell, give away or trade in your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
