So if I get a text while wearing my Apple Watch 6 I will not get a sound notification on my iPhone?

I got alerts on both iPhone 13 and Apple Watch 7 before I updated last night. Now when I get any notification it only comes to watch and my iPhone screen doesn’t even light up and there are no sounds. How do I change this back to the way it was.

Is it possible to receive audible notifications for incoming texts on both my iPhone and on my Apple Watch?

I don’t think this is correct. I don’t get notifications on my phone when it’s locked if I have my watch on. I’ve checked every setting and taking my watch off appears to be the only way for notifications to come through.

Why do I get audible notifications from some people and not others?

Check the mute button on the side of the iPhone isn’t switched on. Is there a chime sound when you put it to charge?

Above not working. Turned off I watch. Asked for text to send, no sound on sending or receiving. Tried again, got it to at least vibrate, the vibrate when at work, don’t feel in the pocket , and the I watch is at home normally, I need sound…

This happened when I had iPhone 7, with I watch…it’s annoying-

I have it in silent while I’m at work. I don’t even get a notification on the iPhone screen
