Transfer of files from windows to mac

I just bought new Mac book pro and transferred the files from my windows pc. However when I go to complete the set up of the new Mac it says the password is wrong. How can I reset the password?

How did you do the transfer? Did yours migration assistant?Move your data from a Windows PC to a Mac - Apple Support Is it possible your Mac is using your windows password? Try reseting password.Change or reset the password of a macOS user account in macOS Mojave or earlier - Apple Support
