How do I undo a migration?

All I wanted to do was move all my files from my MacBook to my new iMac. I had already migrated files from a Mac mini to my iMac, so now on my iMac I have two different profiles and need to logout of one to get to the information in the other one.

iMac 24″, macOS 12.2

I used migration assistant to transfer my pc files to my iMac. Now I have 2 users. So I have to log out of my iMac user and log on to my other user to view my pc stuff. Is this odd and how do I reverse this or can I just delete this migration? I used migration assistant to transfer my pc stuff to iMac. Deleting files after completing Migration Assistant Hello! I just successfully completed the migration from an old mac to a new one. But it seems like both user accounts are still coupled (i.e., when I try to delete files from my old mac, it automatically does the same action on the new one). How can I stop this? I would prefer to delete all files from my old mac before signing out of iTunes/iCloud on the old one... but maybe that logic is what's wrong in the first place? Thanks in advance!

You'll have to copy the user files of User 2 into User 1's account. That can be done by copying to an external drive and then from the drive into User 1. When completed delete User 2.
