Apple TV Subscription

My account says that I am entitled to a free year with Apple TV, yet it will not activate when I click it on my phone. What do I need to do to activate my free subscription?

Hi Blue, just a quick Fyi, AppleTV is a Hardware Box while AppleTV+ is Apple's streaming service.

On your iPhone, go into Settings, press your name at the top of the menus, press Subscriptions. You will be Active and Expired Subscriptions. Do you see anything there?

Apple stopped 1 year free subscriptions in July 2021, after July they are for 3 months. In addition, to redeem a free subscription you must do so within 90 days of your purchase. In short, I am pretty sure you missed your opportunity however you can call AppleCare to ask.
