Activation unsuccessful

I am having an error when activating both iMessages and FaceTime with my

phone number. iMessages will send but only through the email associated with my Apple ID. I reset the entire phone and updated software and still no success. iPhone 13 mini

iPhone 13 mini, iOS 15
