How do I package the Mac I'm trading in?

I received a trade-in kit by mail however the box is much bigger than the Mac. I am not sure how to package it properly and safely?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.5

The trade in box should have arrived with a return address label as well as packing instructions.
