How turn off icloud photo sync on just one device and not the others?

Hi. I recently purchased an iPad Air for work purposes. I intend to use my iPad solely for work, and my iPhone and MacBook for everything else. I have my photos synched to all 3, however I don’t want my personal images on my iPad. Is there a way that I can unsync my photos via iCloud from just my iPad but keep them on my phone and MacBook?

Not if you follow the instructions in my previous post:

See the "How do I turn off iCloud Photos on only one device?" section of Get help with iCloud Photos - Apple Support

The title of that section of that support article --- "How do I turn off iCloud Photos on only one device?" is pretty clear.
