Thanks but that can’t be the reason. I plug my iPad in an it recognizes it. I ordered a usb lightning cord and will see if that works. Thank you!
Ok, I ordered a genuine "Apple usb lightning cable" and itunes now recognizes my iphone. I hope this helps others!
