The short answer is, you don't.
If you're using iCloud Syncing for Messages, they are not save in a back up and when you delete them, they are deleted from all of your devices.
If you're not using iCloud Syncing and you have a back up that the messages might be in, you can restore your phone from that back up. However, doing so will overwrite everything currently on the phone.
