my ipad wont update to the laatest ios and it states that when i try to download an app that its not compatible with my device. What do i do?

The application requires a newer iOS version than the ones which will run on your unit.

A first generation iPad mini isn't capable of 10 or above.

A second or third generation iPad mini isn't capable of 13 or above.
