I upgraded from the iPhone 8 to the iPhone 13Pro. Do I still need to purchase 50 GB of storage in iCloud?

That depends entirely on how much space you have left on iCloud. Your iPhone model has no real relation to your iCloud Storage or your storage needs for that matter. Having a new iPhone does not change the amount of storage you are using in iCloud.


Check Settings->Account->iCloud->Manage Storage for a breakdown. The usage will be the same on both phones assuming they are using the same Apple ID for iCloud.
