Which Apple Watch version would some would need to have in order to ALSO set up Fall Detection on the Apple Watch WITHOUT the need to also have an Iphone? AND would some NEED to have an iphone in order to set up fall detection on the smart watch?

You have got to have an iphone,it won't work without one.
The apple watch is not a standalone device.
