Is my Keychain information shared with my family?

And if so, how can I stop if from being shared EXCEPT to my devices? They each have their own apple ids.

Thanks!

Devices both logged into your same Apple ID, and enabled and authorized for iCloud Keychain access.

Passwords are not shared using family share - with each family member having their own Apple ID, right?

Correct. No Family Sharing of passwords.

Hello there Dobrien03,

I understand you're curious about your iCloud Keychain being shared with members of a Family Sharing group, and that's a great question! Check out the following information for clarification.

With iCloud Keychain, this information is all saved to your individual iCloud account so it's not shared with others. You can use iCloud Keychain on other devices that you own when you sign in with your Apple ID and iCloud information on the device if you'd like. For more information on this, check out the following resource:

Make your passwords available on all your devices with iPhone and iCloud Keychain

In regards to Family Sharing, personal information isn't shared with other users as that would not only cause confusion, but would also be an invasion of your privacy. For information on what is shared with Family Sharing, check out the section labeled "Share purchases, subscriptions, iCloud+, and more" of the following resource:

What is Family Sharing?

I hope this information is able to clear up your question for you.

Have a great day!
