Connectivity with hearing aids

There are times when no sound will come from my phone as it is directed through my hearing aids. How do I change this on iPhone 12 so the sounds come through my phone?

Hello ldbacon89,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. There are times that your iPhone is using your hearing aids for output but you would prefer to listen using your iPhone speaker. Right?

To switch audio sources quickly, you can use Control Center. After swiping to view Control Center, find the Bluetooth icon, then tap and hold it to see options. You should then see connected audio sources. Further details can be found from Access Control Center on your iPhone and iPod touch.

Take care.
