installation of Monterey does not complete

I’m trying to install Monterey on my MacBook Air but the screen has frozen at “less than a minute left. I tried rebooting but the same thing has happened.

how do I complete the installation?

I initiated an update of Monterey OS on my older MacBook Air. When it got to the install step, it froze with the Apple logo and the progress bar about 1/3 loaded. Monterey won’t install MacBook Pro A1708 When I try to install Monterey, it goes through the entire install, but when the computer reboots, it’s still on Big Sur, and the ‘install Monterey’ window is back on the screen… help! thank you!
