A Bluetooth devices keeps connecting to my MacBook Air

My apple MacBook Air keeps connecting to a unknown Bluetooth device named random numbers and letters. Is this something that I should be worried about? It also disconnects my mouse whenever it connects, and it also doesn’t have a options menu for it.

Bluetooth keeps connecting (and won't disconnect) from unknown device Recently my macbook air has been connecting to a random device, called '45-2e-8f-ce-f3-f5'. I have no clue what/whose device that is, so I'm getting a little worried. Whenever I press the 'x' next to it's name in order to disconnect, a little yellow triangle pops up under the name saying it's still connected. It doesn't even disconnect when I turn bluetooth off. Any way I can stop it from connecting, or figure out what it is?

Mac connects to an unknown Bluetooth device that is not on the device list Hi, I have a 2020 13" MacBook Pro that I bought back in May 2020. Recently, I notice the Bluetooth menu on the menu bar indicating that it is connecting to a device, I do have a Bluetooth headphone, but I never connected it to my Mac, nor anything else. When I open the Bluetooth pane on the menu bar, there were no devices listed and yet, the Mac is connecting to something. Then I went into Bluetooth Preferences and there were no devices there as well. It happened for a few days already and I tried to resolve it by restarting my laptop quite a few times, but it still said it is connected to something. Has anybody experiencing the same thing? Is this just a bug or am I being hacked? I appreciate for any help I can get.

Mystery bluetooth device? Running MacOS Catalina 10.15.2 on my Macbook Air, under Bluetooth I find that my computer is automatically connecting to a mystery device identified only by a MAC address. Under Bluetooth Preferences, the device cannot be deleted. When I press the "X" button to delete it, it continues to say "Connected" with a yellow exclamation point, and there is a "Connect" button beside it. In the menu bar the device still appears as connected, with an option to "Disconnect". But choosing this option does nothing... the mystery device remains connected. Anyone know what is going on? The initial connection might show the MAC address of the bluetooth device which will be 6 pairs of hexidecimal numbers, 1-9, a-f.

It could be another iPhone in the household trying to connect.

If you have other iOS devices, open the General Settings > About and look that the Bluetooth address. If it matches what you see, that is the culprit. Why it is doing that, I don't know.
