Target Display Mode
Good Afternoon, I have a question, I am currently have a iMac late 2013 series with macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and I am trying to use it as a target display to mirror my Surface Pro 4. I am having trouble to do so.. Any Help ?

You can’t do that with Catalina. See here: Use your iMac as a display with target display mode – Apple Support (UK)
Additionally, Target Display Mode on your iMac, would require Thunderbolt, which your Surface Pro 4 does not have. So it is not possible.

Even if you downgrade it, unfortunately, your Mac requires a Thunderbolt connection for Target Display Mode. Your Surface Pro only has a Mini DisplayPort output. Even though a Mini DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort cable would fit, it wouldn’t work.
