hello, I recently deleted all of my purchased music on the music app and I cant find a way to get my music back. I didn’t know at the time that “delete from library” meant deleted permanently. Is there anyway I can get all of my music back? I am currently using an iPhone 12 if that information helps.

I’ve worked out what is going on. Deleting the songs has hidden them. The only way to unhide them is on a computer: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208167
Once that’s done they should show up in your Purchases in iTunes Store on your phone.

If you don’t subscribe to Apple Music look in Purchases in the iTunes Store. If you do subscribe they can be downloaded again within the Music app.

All that music is still yours. I think it is because of the subscription that it is not showing in the iTunes Store. Do a search for one of those songs in the iTunes Store and see if it says “purchased”. In the meantime you can just download them again from within the Music app.
Then go back into the iTunes Store on your iPhone and try to download them again.
Probably not. When your sub finishes you’ll most likely have to download them again from the iTunes Store.
I did a 6 month free subscription for apple music. I think my music was permanently deleted as well? In purchases it says I have no music.
Has your free trial finished? And the music you say you purchased did you actually pay for the music outright from iTunes.
I got the trial today so it has not finished. The music was purchased straight from iTunes I have the receipts for them too which is found in purchase history in my account settings.

Yes if I search my purchased songs it says purchased. If I download them from the app will the songs that there after my subscription ends for Apple Music?

I tried what was recommended and I was able to retrieve some songs but not all came back. I unhid every song and only a few are showing in my library.
How did you get them into the library?
I followed the steps from the link you provided. I used my laptop to unhide all of my music but only a few songs are being shown.
