Hi, I bought a used apple watch. Had to reset it as still had old apple id on it. trying to set it up using my iphone 11 pro max but phone says apple id or password is incorrect. Both are correct, have checked. Please help

Resetting the Apple Watch is almost certainly insufficient to remove the old Apple ID. If you’re still being asked questions related to the Apple Watch’s former Apple ID, it is Activation Locked, and only the original owner can unlock it.
