Can I watch Apple TV on a Sony Smart TV?

I have a free 3-month subscription to Apple TV+ but I can't figure out how to watch it on my Sony Smart TV. When I go to the App store, I don't see an App for Apple. I read somewhere that Samsung Android TVs have an Apple TV app, but Sony Android does not. Is that true? Is there any way to watch Apple TV+ on a Sony TV?

Depends on your exact model of Sony Smart Tv.

There are some supported models, but not all models may have the Apple TV app. See here for supported Sony models: link-> https://www.apple.com/apple-tv-app/devices/

Thank you very much. My TV model is not on that list (it's a few years older than the models listed), so that must be why I can't run the app.
