AU Sampler Crashes GarageBand

I have a 2020 M1 MacBook Air with GarageBand 10.4.5. When loading projects with AU sampler GarageBand will either instantly crash, or display the message “An Audio Unit plug-in reported a problem which might cause the system to become unstable. Please quit and restart GarageBand.” This occurs with both old and new projects once AU Sampler Tracks are created, and it seems to run fine with just one, but as soon as multiple sampler tracks are being used the problem occurs. Doesn’t occur without use of sampler. Any Answers or word of bug fix?
