Why doesn't Apple TV app doesn't see movies and TV in iTunes library?

After upgrading, I can no longer see the movies and TV shows in my old iTunes library, other than the ones downloaded from the iTunes Store.

Changing preferences to old iTunes library doesn't make them appear in Apple TV app.

iTunes related features on Apple TV device Hi! I’m interested in the Apple TV device a little because of the gaming and storage. However I know right now we have the Apple TV + app for allowing me to watch my purchased shows and movies but for some reason I can’t watch the iTunes extras on that app, and this is while using the app on a Roku TV. My question is, much like the Movies Anywhere app, does the Apple TV device allow me to access my iTunes extras? I like to watch the extra features for my movies and for example my copy of Alien showed up on the Movies Anywhere app and I realized its iTunes extras had the directors cut, which I almost bought separately.

My apple tv does not show all of my iTunes library So after the latest Apple TV software update, my Apple TV shows only the iTunes library items that I've purchased through Apple, and not anything I've ripped from my CDs or bought from Amazon. Since I can see a subset of my library, I'm assuming that the issue isn't with Home Sharing. What can I do to get the entirety of my library accessible through my Apple TV.

It doesn’t use the iTunes library any more. It has its own storage location. Everything should have been moved there, but maybe that was only done when iTunes was killed.
