Hello community, How can I update OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite, to OS X 10.11. So I can run OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 ?
So Im basically wanting to install Pro Tools 10.0, but it requires Mac OS X version 10.6.7 or higher. And Im currently using OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5. I thought 10.6.7 was lower then 10.10.5 and I did have enough to install, Pro tools 10.0, so I downloaded OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and now in order to install this, the mac book pro i7 is saying i needs an OS X 10.11 update. How am I able to get a hold of the update OS X 10.11?
I'm having the same issue. However, when I download and run 10.11 it says it was successful, however my computer is still stuck on Yosemite 10.10.5. It's not running on the new 10.11. I restarted my computer but it's the same thing.
