How do I transfer e-books from my 10.15 OS Mac to my ipad?

What do I need in order to transfer ebooks I bought, downloaded or were given to my ipad from my iMac with OS Catalina 10.15.7

Transfering EBooks to an Ipad Hi, I am trying to transfer an ebook to my iPad from my windows computer using itunes. This sound silly but I don't know where the books option is or if I need a separate program. Thank you

Do you use the Books app on both of these devices? ... and sign in with the same Apple ID on both? If so, that would be one method to sync your ebooks between them.
