The iTunes app was discontinued and replaced on Macs running macOS Catalina or later. See: What happened to iTunes? - Apple Support

Use the procedure described in If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support and note that on a Mac it uses Finder instead of iTunes. See the following excerpt:

Locate your iPhone in the Finder or in iTunes on the computer that it’s connected to. (Learn how to find your connected iPhone.)
