Why won’t Apple TV play videos?

watching in South African. Everything has always worked fine. I went away for 6 days and turned power off. Now none of the standard apple videos are available in the country or region I’m in. Region was previously set to UK. I have now tried USA and South Africa. Still won’t play. I then updated OS from 14.x to 15.1.1. Still won’t play standard videos such as Home Before Dark, Acapulco, For All Mankind, Long Way Up.

these were all playing a week ago.

Also have same problem if I try to watch on iPhone using the App.

Hey there Rick-apple,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. Do you have any VPN or other security set up over the network you’re using? If so, remove those and test again. You can also try over a different network and see if this has any impact on the issue.

Problem solved. Eventually found network down in our neighbourhood, everything else was coincidence. Working again now. Thanks
