airpod pros malfunction after a couple months

so, I've never dropped them or dropped them in the case. but when I got into Clarity mode or Noise cancelation, i hear this low tone static sound that last for less than half a second in Noise cancelation following by the left airpod getting a bit loud/sensitive to basically everything around me, even in a quiet environment it still happens. this static or issue doesn't happen when either mode is disabled.

any ideas on how to get this fixed? or do I just have to take it in to my closest store
