When I run time machine backup fails and I get this message. Time Machine did not finish backing up because some files were unavailable. Backups will resume when your Mac is unlocked.

Once I determine the upgrade is successful and no problems have popped up in, say, 24 hours, I'll do just that. Erase the TM drives and start fresh.
I maintain history and backups of files and such in multiple ways so I have no need for years of history in TM.

I checked and my last successful backup was just before I updated to 12.0.1 Do I need to make a new backup for Monterey?
since I updated to monterey I get this message when I try to run backup, any suggestions?
