Do it the Olde Fashioned Way:
If you cannot find it though use of technology, then backtrack your locations, asking those you know if they have seen it. Look in your car. Or look on your counter.

Place your Apple Watch in Lost Mode, i cant do that because it doesn’t show up in Find My
Ignore the sections of the article you can't use.
